Welcome to Healing Arts House, a nurturing online space evolving into a physical House. At our House, care meets creativity, and we specialize in trauma-informed and trauma-sensitive care. We offer TCTSY (Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga), trauma-informed hatha yoga, music lessons, and coaching in using the creative process to heal. Our House is a place where everyone is invited to make themselves at Home. Join us in building our community.
Allie
Allie is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Michigan, building upon her undergraduate studies in Literature & Philosophy. She brings a unique blend of empathy, insight, and creativity to her work with survivors of interpersonal violence, sexual trauma, military sexual trauma, and betrayal trauma. Allie uses her skills as an artist, musician, and writer to guide others in exploring the power of the creative process. Her approach is characterized by respect for the resilience of the human spirit, informed by diverse life experiences that have enriched her understanding and compassion.

Meg
Intersections
Meg works primarily with older adults and seniors, caregivers, LGBTQ+ humans, and musicians as well as anyone looking for empowerment within creative expressions, calm and clear problem solving, and self rediscovery. She offers private in-person and online sessions in Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, trauma-informed traditional hatha yoga, and movement designed to support who you are, so you can choose the approach that feels best for you. As an educator within the arts for over 2 decades, she has seen the need for new approaches within teaching practices and administrative roles and offers consults that aid in inclusive and supportive languaging, accessible curriculum approaches, and the creation of a healthy and inspiring creative environment.

She has 3 cats (2 old men and a young vibrant lady) and a silly goober of a dog. She loves to bake and is slightly obsessed with the Great British Bake Off. Her wife has been subjected to many hours of baking shows and is very kind about it.
